The Easy German 10-Day-Challenge is (you guessed it!) a 10 day-long-challenge. Each day, we post a new challenge for you on our Discord server.

The goal is to improve our German language skills through small reading, discussion, and writing tasks. It's also an opportunity to engage with fellow learners and enjoy little insights in everyone’s lives together.

To join the 10-Day-Challenge, you'll simply need to become a member of Easy German in any membership level for the duration of the challenge. Once you're a member, you'll get access to our Discord server, where our discussions and challenges will be conducted.

The cost of the Easy German membership depends on the membership level you select.

Absolutely! We offer a monthly subscription option that you can cancel at any time. This allows you to participate in the 10-Day-Challenge and also experience other benefits of being an Easy German member for a month or two.

Discord is a free chat app that you can use on your computer and phone. We use it to communicate and chat with our members. To join, you'll need to link your Patreon account to your Discord account — it takes less than 5 minutes and we have a tutorial on how to do this here.

Once you're in, you'll see a variety of text channels where you can chat about everything from everyday life to philosophical topics in German.

You'll also see a section called "🏆10-day-challenge" — this is where we'll facilitate our daily discussions and tasks.

Yes! The 10-Day-Challenge is open to learners of all levels. You may find the process most useful and enjoyable if you have an A2 level or higher, but you’re welcome to participate at any level.

And even if you don't understand every word of the tasks: Just try to follow along as best you can — it will still be a great opportunity to improve your German.

Definitely. Our 10-Day-Challenge is conducted online, so you can participate from anywhere in the world. All you need is a phone or computer with internet access.

You can spend as much or as little time as you like on the discussions and the task. In total there is only a time commitment to be expected between 5 to 15 minutes a day.

The discussions are conducted in a forum on Discord. After reading each day’s task, members can join the challenge of the day by posting in the thread. This could be a task such as sharing your favourite German recipe or book. Besides that you can ask questions, or respond to others' posts. The atmosphere is friendly and open, with everyone encouraged to participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable with.

Each day, we provide a German language task as your daily challenge. The challenges vary and might involve writing a brief text, sharing a picture or recording a personal audio message or video.

These challenges are designed to improve your speaking, writing and listening skills by actively using the language.

That's completely fine! The 10-Day-Challenge is self-paced, so if you miss a day, you can always catch up later. The important thing is to enjoy the process and learn at a pace that's comfortable for you.
